Odisha KG-to-PG free edu subject to 75% attendance, professional courses exempted

Odisha's Gyanodaya scheme provides free KG-to-PG education only for students with at least 75% classroom attendance.

Professional courses, private institutions, self-financing programmes, and correspondence courses are exempted from the fee waiver.

The fee waiver applies only to eligible regular courses in state universities, government colleges, and private aided colleges.

The government will reimburse institutions for admission-related fees, but examination and hostel fees remain the student's responsibility.

Students who paid admission fees in the first round will receive refunds directly into their bank accounts.
