Kia India has teased the Sorento Hybrid and opened pre-bookings for the three-row SUV, marking the brand's first hybrid SUV for the domestic market.
The Sorento will feature vertically stacked LED headlamps with T-shaped LED DRLs and will be offered in six-seat and seven-seat configurations.
Expected features include dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera.
The India-bound Sorento is expected to use a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with a self-charging hybrid system, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.
The Sorento will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron, and Jeep Meridian.
