No meeting with Pradan, only attended conference of state edu ministers: Samsudheen

Kerala General Education Minister N Samsudheen clarified he attended a pre-scheduled conference of state education ministers, not a personal meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The conference discussed a review of Samagra Shiksha funds for Kerala and the upcoming PM Poshan scheme, which will provide breakfast and lunch to students up to class 12.

Samsudheen stated that Kerala raised the issue of ₹1,500 crore in arrears due to the state and sought that the amount not be linked to the PM SHRI scheme.

The clarification came amid criticism for meeting Pradhan while student protests over NEET irregularities were ongoing in Delhi.
