Tanishk Bagchi deletes ₹8 lakh unpaid royalty post after YRF says Saiyaara dues were shared: ‘Paid every collaborator’

Composer Tanishk Bagchi deleted his Instagram post claiming ₹8 lakh in unpaid royalties for the song 'Saiyaara' after Yash Raj Films (YRF) responded.

YRF stated that royalties for the 'Saiyaara' title track were shared equally among three composers (Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami) as per contract.

YRF said it paid every collaborator their due according to mutually agreed terms and timelines.

Bagchi's post on July 18, 2026, claimed he was still waiting for ₹8 lakh a year after the song's release.

After YRF's clarification, Bagchi deleted the post; no further statement from him has been reported yet.
