Tejashwi Yadav warns of protests over NEET case
Tejashwi Yadav warned of mass protests in Bihar if Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary did not withdraw cases against NEET protesters and release detained students.
Yadav gave Chaudhary an ultimatum to meet his demands by the evening or night of July 28, 2026.
A Bihar government notification later said all cases registered before July 26 evening would be withdrawn and those arrested released.
The protests were linked to the NEET-UG paper leak and a demand for Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
Yadav demanded a judicial inquiry after a cop in Siwan district was suspended for using an AK-47 during the student protests.
