Mumbai: Alert GRP Personnel Save Man From Alleged Suicide Attempt Beneath Moving Local Train At Dadar Station

On July 30, 2026, at Dadar railway station in Mumbai, a man attempted suicide by lying under a moving Churchgate-Borivali slow local train on Platform No. 1.

Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel, including Assistant Sub-Inspector Pathan, Chavan, Head Constable Rupnawar, and Police Constable Tapole, rescued the man by pulling him away from the train.

The incident occurred at approximately 10.52 pm, and the man was identified as unidentified as he refused to disclose his name or address.

The GRP team acted quickly to save the man's life, and further inquiry into the incident is underway.
