MLC: Powell powers LA Knight Riders into maiden final

Los Angeles Knight Riders defeated San Francisco Unicorns by seven runs in Qualifier 1 to reach their first Major League Cricket final.

Rovman Powell smashed an unbeaten 50 off 15 balls, including six sixes, to power LAKR to 187/3.

Colin Munro (51) and Andre Russell (62*) built a 96-run partnership to lay the foundation for the innings.

Matthew Short scored an unbeaten 94 for the Unicorns, but their chase fell seven runs short at 180/4.

Sunil Narine took two early wickets for LAKR, including a double-wicket maiden in the first over.
