Kalyan woman kills partner, hides body in bathroom sack

Hamidullah Islam (37) was found dead in a sack in the bathroom of a rented flat in Kalyan East, his body decomposed.

His live-in partner Hasiba Babarali Halsona (28) has been booked for murder and is absconding, believed to have fled to Kolkata.

Police were alerted after landlord Ajay Patil received a voice message from Hasiba admitting to the killing.

The victim was allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon; the bathroom tap was left running to wash away evidence.

Three police teams have been formed to trace Hasiba; motive is still under investigation.
