Three seriously injured in alleged road rage assault near Kochi

Three persons were seriously injured in an alleged road rage assault near Kakkanad, Kochi, on July 26, 2026.

The injured were identified as Muhammed Shafi, Praveen Kumar, and Nisam.

The attack occurred near the NGO Quarters Junction roundabout after the victims on a motorcycle allegedly failed to give way to a car.

The first accused allegedly used brass knuckles to punch Shafi; all three accused repeatedly kicked and assaulted the victims with intent to kill.

Shafi suffered a fractured jaw, Praveen Kumar a skull fracture and internal bleeding, and Nisam severe nasal injuries and deep cuts inside his lip.
