US Senate unanimously opposes Presidential pardon for Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell

The US Senate unanimously approved a non-binding resolution opposing any presidential pardon or clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking offenses related to her association with Jeffrey Epstein.

The resolution was introduced by Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen of Nevada and signals bipartisan opposition.

President Donald Trump has not ruled out granting clemency, but the White House says it is not under consideration.
