Man held after wife, 2 children found dead in Hisar

A man was arrested after the bodies of his wife and two minor children were found in a water body inside their house in Malapur village, Hisar.

The accused, Amit Kumar, was booked on murder charges following allegations by the wife's family of prolonged domestic harassment and torture.

The victims were identified as Mukesh Rani (33), her 13-year-old daughter, and 12-year-old son.

The case came to light after Amit reported his wife and children missing on July 31; relatives accompanied police to the house the next day and found the bodies.

Agroha police registered a case against Amit and other named accused under relevant sections, including murder.
