Over 4 lakh CBSE Class 12 students requested scanned answer books in 2026, Govt tells Rajya Sabha

Over 4 lakh CBSE Class 12 students requested scanned copies of evaluated answer books after the 2026 board exams, the Centre told Rajya Sabha.

Nearly 1.68 lakh candidates sought verification or re-evaluation of their marks.

CBSE reduced post-result service charges and introduced refunds for students whose marks increased after re-evaluation.
