Sleeping on roof, an argument, then a fall: Husband dead, woman injured in Delhi

Varun Sharma died and his wife Geeta (29) was injured after falling from the rooftop of their four-storey house in Gandhi Nagar, New Delhi.

The couple had dinner around 9 pm and went to sleep on the rooftop; around 10 pm, family heard them arguing followed by a fall.

Both were found injured in the lane; Varun was declared dead at Dr Hedgewar Hospital, Geeta was referred to GTB Hospital.

Police are investigating whether the fall was accidental or a push; family has not expressed suspicion of foul play.

The couple married in February 2019 and have a two-and-a-half-year-old son.
