Pakistan faces an emerging military-terror nexus to neutralize JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman after he criticized Army Chief Asim Munir.

State-backed cleric Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi met with Hafiz Talha Saeed, son of UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed, in Markaz Quba.

The meeting between Ashrafi and Lashkar-e-Taiba leadership was a strategy session to orchestrate a coordinated response against Fazlur Rehman.
