Bhiwandi flyover crash kills one, injures two

A speeding Maruti Suzuki WagonR lost control while overtaking on the Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Flyover and crashed into three motorcycles.

Motorcyclist Tahir Ali was thrown over the flyover barrier and died on the spot.

Two other motorcyclists, Shahrukh Khan and Alam Shah, were seriously injured and hospitalized.

Driver Samukh Singh sustained minor injuries; police registered a case under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The accident renewed safety concerns about the flyover's narrow carriageway and low-height barriers, which have caused multiple fatal crashes.
