Telangana Weather Update: IMD Warns of Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds Across Several Districts

The India Meteorological Department warned of heavy rain and gusty winds across several districts in Telangana.

Districts including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad are expected to receive rain on July 25.

Gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph will blow across Telangana, posing risks of lightning and falling power lines.

Rains are predicted to intensify from July 26, with North Telangana districts expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall during the last week of July.

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority warned of lightning risk in districts such as Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, and others, advising farmers and travellers to seek safe shelter.
