Maharashtra Legislature To Go Paperless In 3 Months With Adoption Of Centres NeVA Platform

Maharashtra Legislature will adopt the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) to go fully paperless within three months.

NeVA is a Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs platform that digitizes legislative business, improving efficiency and transparency.

The ₹80-crore project is jointly funded by the Centre and state under a 60:40 cost-sharing formula.

NeVA provides legislators a unified interface to access bills, questions, committee reports, and proceedings from all participating legislatures.

MoUs have been signed for 33 of India's 37 legislative Houses; Maharashtra's MoU awaits Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's formal approval.
