Two men arrested for raping girl, 12, in Haldwani

Police arrested Vikram Singh, 29, and Saurabh Bisht, 21, for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl in Haldwani, Uttarakhand.

The girl left home after an argument; her mother filed a missing complaint on July 29, leading to an FIR under Section 137(2) of BNS.

CCTV showed Vikram luring the girl into a car; he allegedly assaulted her at a studio near Barf Wali Gali.

Saurabh allegedly took the girl to Shakti Farm in Sitarganj and assaulted her; both were arrested Thursday night.

Charges under the POCSO Act were added; both were sent to judicial custody Friday.
