Odisha cabinet approves ₹22,667 crore funds for rural road, bridge projects

Odisha Cabinet approved ₹22,667 crore for rural infrastructure projects including roads and bridges.

Setu Bandhan Yojana extended to 2030-31 with ₹11,000 crore outlay to construct 1,750 new bridges and complete 1,417 ongoing ones.

Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY) approved with ₹4,000 crore to build 4,607 km of new roads and finish 115 km of ongoing works.

MMSY-Connecting Missing Road Links (CMRL) scheme approved with ₹1,917 crore to construct 3,850 km of roads and bridges.

Projects aim to improve year-round access to healthcare, education, and markets in rural and remote areas.
