Vijay urges public to refuse bribes

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay urged people to refuse bribes at a rally in Karur.

Vijay said he would stand with anyone who refuses to pay a bribe and told them to say 'our son, our brother, our Vijay is the one ruling this state'.

He declared that no one involved in corruption, taking bribes, or misusing power would be allowed to continue in his state.

DMK leader T K S Elangovan accused the Vijay government of taking bribes, citing a lawsuit from a TVK lawyer alleging bribery for appointing party lawyers.
