Joc Pederson hits first 2 of Rangers 4 homers in 7-3 win over Mariners to take key AL West series

Joc Pederson homered twice, driving in four runs for the Texas Rangers in a 7-3 win over the Seattle Mariners.

The Rangers took three of four in the series to stretch their AL West lead to 2 1/2 games.

All four Rangers homers came in the first three innings off Mariners pitcher George Kirby.

Texas righty Kumar Rocker struck out seven while allowing two runs over 6 2/3 innings.

Pederson's leadoff homer extended his hitting streak to eight games.
