Nashik: Highway Police Officer Risks Life To Rescue Rider Trapped In Mud On Mumbai-Nashik Highway

Police personnel Shevare Dhangar from Ghoti Highway Police Outpost rescued a two-wheeler rider trapped in mud on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway near Gonde Phata.

The rider became stuck due to road development work and heavy rainfall; many bystanders recorded videos but did not help.

Dhangar waded into the mud, rolled up his trousers, removed his shoes, and pulled both the rider and vehicle to safety.

His action is being praised locally and on social media for demonstrating courage and humanity.
