RBI releases fresh data on NRI dollar scheme; FCNR(B) deposits surge to $36.7 billion

The 2026 drive has surpassed the $26 billion raised in the 2013 FCNR(B) scheme.

The FCNR(B) scheme, which offers dollar-denominated deposits to NRIs, is set to close in two months.
