Bengaluru: Bannerghatta Tiger Undergoes Root Canal Surgery for Damaged Canine Tooth

A tiger named Sinchana at Bannerghatta Biological Park underwent a three-hour root canal surgery after damaging and infecting a canine tooth by chewing on enclosure bars.

The procedure, performed by veterinarians from Bannerghatta Biological Park and Wildlife SOS, saved the tooth without removing it.

The tiger had stopped eating properly due to severe tooth pain, affecting its health.

Tiger Sinchana is recovering well and receiving continuous care from park staff.

The successful surgery has been appreciated by animal lovers and visitors.
