Punjab CM says Mukh Mantri Teerath Yatra Yojana scheme has been expanded

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann expanded the Mukh Mantri Teerath Yatra Yojana to include Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar Ji, Vrindavan Dham, and Rishikesh from August 1.

The scheme provides free pilgrimages covering transportation, boarding, lodging, and return travel for devotees.

Previously, the scheme covered Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Bhagwan Valmiki Teerath Sthal, Sri Anandpur Sahib, and Naina Devi Ji.

People above 50 years can visit religious places free of cost under the scheme.

The state government also organizes 'Ek Sham Bhagwan Shiv Ke Naam' Bhajan Sandhya in 22 cities during Saavan month.
