Gujarat rains: Roads Dept reopens 94% of closed roads within hours

The Roads and Buildings Department reopened 94% of 1,540 closed roads in Gujarat within hours after unprecedented rainfall.

Over 1,400 personnel and 300 machines were deployed for rapid restoration and to resume traffic.

The department restored 1,451 roads to ensure swift vehicular movement during challenging conditions.
