Driver robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight in busy Bengaluru junction

Shivanna M, a 31-year-old driver from Bengaluru, was robbed at knifepoint near Nayandahalli junction on July 30 at around 2:10pm.

Two miscreants threatened Shivanna with a knife, and stole his mobile phone, an 8-gram gold chain, and a purse containing Rs 15,000.

The incident occurred in broad daylight, and although more than five people witnessed it, no one intervened.

Byatarayanapura police have registered a case under BNS section 309 (robbery) and are checking CCTV footage to identify the robbers.
