Actor Sridevi advised Lulla to attend the award ceremony, emphasizing its importance.

All of Sridevi's outfits in Lamhe, especially the younger look, were handcrafted with painting, embroidery, and corseting.

Lulla was designing costumes for the Jumma Chumma stage tour featuring Sridevi, Anil Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan when the award was announced.
