Bald eagle couple Jackie and Shadow's 24/7 livestream in California's Big Bear Valley raised $10 million to save their forest home from luxury development.

The funds were used to purchase and permanently protect the 63-acre Moon Camp property on the north shore of Big Bear Lake near Fawnskin, California.

The property was a primary hunting ground for the eagles and was threatened by a luxury housing development.

The campaign was organized by conservationists and supported by millions of viewers who had followed Jackie and Shadow through multiple nesting seasons via the livestream operated by Friends of Big Bear Valley.
