'Chennai Love Story' crosses Rs 37.28 crore worldwide

The film's worldwide gross crossed Rs 37.28 crore after its first week, with domestic gross at Rs 30.88 crore and overseas collections at Rs 6.40 crore.

Day 7 collection in India was Rs 1.42 crore across 1,361 shows, marking a 35.5% decline from Wednesday's Rs 2.20 crore.

The film recorded an overall theater occupancy of 25.62%, with peak occupancy of 27.23% during afternoon shows.

The story follows Niveditha (Sri Gouri Priya) and aspiring filmmaker Steven Shankar (Kiran Abbavaram) after a painful incident changes Niveditha's life.
