Gupta stated that good jobs are hard to get, with salaries only slightly higher than in India and thousands of applicants per opening.

He described the cost of living as very high, paying ₹2 lakh/month for a 600 sq ft apartment in downtown Toronto.

He claimed free healthcare is a myth, citing a six-month wait for a family doctor and over two months for a specialist referral.
