Mr. Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey is a retired DIG of BSF and served 9 years with the NIA handling high-profile terrorism cases.
He led the operation neutralizing Ghazi Baba, a Pakistani terrorist and JeM commander responsible for the 2001 Parliament attack, which also killed two other Pakistani terrorists.
During the encounter, he sustained seven AK-47 bullet injuries and survived.
He was awarded the Kirti Chakra, the second-highest peacetime gallantry award, by the President of India.
His life and valour are depicted in the biographical film 'Ground Zero'.
