NCB, Manipur police arrest alleged drug supplier wanted in NDPS cases

Manipur Police and NCB arrested alleged drug supplier Nengjatuan alias Tuanpi in Churachandpur district.

Tuanpi is wanted in multiple NDPS cases and is accused of being part of a Myanmar-based syndicate trafficking methamphetamine and heroin through Northeast India.

He was arrested from Hotel Venus during a joint raid by Manipur Police and NCB.

Tuanpi is the principal accused in three NCB cases involving seizure of 28.22 kg methamphetamine and 1.278 kg heroin valued over ₹25 crore.

He is also linked to seven other NDPS cases registered by Churachandpur Police, Singngat Police, and DRI.
