NCP (SP) Chief Sharad Pawar Hails Socialist Leader Kumar Saptarshi For Preserving Gandhian Ideals, Inspiring

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar hailed Dr Kumar Saptarshi as a great leader devoted to preserving Mahatma Gandhi's ideals.

Saptarshi was an activist, writer, and founder of Yuvak Kranti Dal (Yukrand), a youth movement.

He was prominent in Maharashtra's socio-political landscape for over five decades.

Saptarshi obtained an MBBS from BJ Medical College, Pune, and later pursued legal studies.

He was elected as a legislator from Ahmednagar city in 1978 as a Janata Party candidate.
