Air India, SkyDrive & Suzuki To Study Feasibility Of Using eVTOL Aircraft For Delivering Emergency Medical

Air India, SkyDrive, and Suzuki Motor have partnered to study the feasibility of using eVTOL aircraft for medical logistics in India.

The initiative aims to speed up transport of organs, medicines, and emergency supplies by bypassing traffic congestion.

SkyDrive will provide its multi-rotor electric aircraft technology, Air India will supply operational expertise and infrastructure integration, and Suzuki brings manufacturing insight and supply-chain scale.

The study is supported by India's Ministry of Civil Aviation, which has already granted permissions to three companies to develop eVTOL aircraft.
