Venezuela Earthquake: Death Count Rises To 4,829, Over 20,000 Displaced

A 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck La Guaira, Venezuela, within a minute on June 24.

The death toll has risen to 4,829 with over 20,000 displaced.

The quakes decimated the coastal state of La Guaira north of Caracas.
