Noida Sector 19 residents flag irregular garbage collection

Residents of Sector 19 in Noida report irregular door-to-door garbage collection for over a month across all three blocks.

Garbage accumulation during monsoon has created unhygienic conditions with foul odours, according to the RWA.

Sanitation vehicles are alleged to skip streets or collect garbage only every two to three days.

The Noida authority’s sanitation contractor AG Enviro discussed corrective steps with the RWA on Wednesday.

AG Enviro’s general manager said two garbage trucks assigned are sufficient, but noted a dispute over collection timing.
