Ghaziabad to spend ₹125 crore to improve roads, curb dust

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) plans a ₹125-crore project to improve roads and reduce dust across residential wards, covering about 65 km.

The project involves end-to-end paving of roads with tiles and repairing damaged stretches, as per GMC chief engineer NK Chaudhary.

Key stretches in Kavi Nagar, Vasundhara, Vijay Nagar, and Mohan Nagar are identified for the first phase, with work likely to start after monsoon.

Funding will be provided by the urban development department, and a detailed project report (DPR) is to be submitted for state approval next week.
