Employees' provident fund interest credited on July 15: How to check updated PF balance

EPFO credited annual interest for FY 2025-26 at 8.25% to around 34 crore member accounts on July 15, 2026.

The total payout is estimated at over ₹1.44 lakh crore, as announced by union labour minister Mansukh Mandaviya.

This was the first interest crediting after the centralisation of EPFO, enabled by the implementation of 2.01 CITES.

Members can check their updated PF balance via the EPFO member e-Sewa portal, UMANG app, or SMS service.

On the e-Sewa portal, a passbook entry like 'Interest Updated Up To 15/07/2026' confirms the credit.
