UGC to launch NSPG and Ishan Uday special scholarship application process soon; check details
UGC will soon open applications for the National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies (NSPG) and the Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
NSPG offers eligible first-year postgraduate students in regular/full-time courses Rs 1.5 lakh per year, paid as Rs 10,000 per month for two years.
Ishan Uday Special Scholarship supports students from the North Eastern Region in the first year of a regular undergraduate course, with Rs 10,000 to Rs 80,000 per year for three to five years.
The detailed application schedule will be announced separately by UGC.
Institutions must verify applications within fifteen days of submission.
