Kargil Vijay Diwas: Rajnath says no dialogue with Pakistan except on PoK
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ruled out any dialogue with Pakistan except on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), stating PoK is part of India illegally occupied by Pakistan.
Speaking at the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas in Dras, Singh said there is no distinction between military and militants in Pakistan, where terrorism is state policy.
Singh cited Operation Sindoor, launched in May 2025 against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, as evidence of India's ability to retaliate forcefully against Pakistani misadventures.
Operation Sindoor was in response to the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, including 25 tourists.
