CJI Surya Kant inaugurates Commonwealth peace conference in Jaipur

CJI Surya Kant inaugurated the Commonwealth Peace Mediation and Rule of Law Conference in Jaipur.

He called peace 'one of law's finest achievements' and linked it to the legal system.

At a UNCITRAL event in New Delhi, he highlighted arbitration and mediation for preserving trust in global commerce.

He said these methods ensure disputes are interruptions to trade, not obstacles.
