Kicked off bus with heavy luggage in Bengaluru, man fights travel operator & wins Rs 3k

In Bengaluru, Mahamad Rafeek Angadi was forced off a Royal Travels bus at Anand Rao Circle instead of his ticketed destination Kalasipalyam on Oct 27, 2025.

Angadi, carrying three heavy bags, had to walk from Anand Rao Circle to Kalasipalyam and missed an important professional meeting.

After Royal Travels ignored his legal notice and helpline calls, Angadi filed a consumer complaint with the Bengaluru Urban II additional district consumer disputes redressal commission on Nov 21, seeking Rs 50,000.

Royal Travels did not appear before the commission; the commission ruled in Angadi's favor, awarding him Rs 3,000 in compensation.
