A couple was assaulted in Mohali following a dispute over flat eviction.

Complainant Poonam Rani alleged the accused snatched a gold chain from Sanjay.

The accused smashed Sanjay's mobile phone with a brick and took it away.

Police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
