Dubai Yakshagana troupe to stage ‘Mohini Ekadashi’ in Moodubidire

Yakshagana Abhyasa Kendra UAE (Dubai) will stage ‘Mohini Ekadashi’ at Dr VS Acharya Auditorium, Alva’s Education Institution, Moodubidire, on Aug 4.

The performance is part of the troupe's 11th anniversary celebrations, which include three events in Dakshina Kannada.

A 50-member team from Dubai arrived in the district on Saturday (Aug 1) for the performances.

The troupe will also perform ‘Dashavatara’ at Kateel Temple and ‘Sudarshanopakhyana’ at Mangaladevi Temple as part of the anniversary events.

The centre conducts weekly Yakshagana classes in Dubai with over 100 students.
