Thane cops arrest 2 colleagues of private firm staffer nearly a month after he was found murdered

Thane rural police and Local Crime Branch arrested two colleagues, aged 24 and 28, for the murder of a 42-year-old private firm employee.

The victim's body was found on June 28 in a forest area along the Kalyan-Ahilyanagar highway, within Mamnoli village jurisdiction.

The accused killed the victim after frustration over his alleged sexual advances towards them, then looted his gold jewellery.

The case was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 103 and 238 at Kalyan Taluka police station.

Six investigation teams used CCTV footage and technical surveillance to identify and arrest the suspects.
