Chamba Medical College to get AIIMS-like tech, relaxed faculty norms

Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced upgrades for Chamba Medical College, including AIIMS-like equipment such as a 3-Tesla MRI and CT scan.

The state government will relax faculty norms and deploy 40 new staff nurses to boost services.

An additional 20 ICU beds will be added to the medical college.
