One killed, 15 wounded as car hits crowd near Berlin Gay Pride

A car entered Berlin's Tiergarten park and hit a crowd near the Berlin Gay Pride parade, killing one person and wounding around 15.

Police spokesman Florian Nath said some survivors were seriously injured and treated by emergency services.

The Gay Pride event was cut short; police told participants to go home and sealed off the area.

Police found the suspected car abandoned in Tiergarten park and were searching for the occupants.

The incident occurred just before 10:00 pm on July 25, 2026, near the main stage at Brandenburg Gate.
