Viral video shows Canadian woman Kaitlyn Tracey allegedly slapping teen over 'MAGA clothing' before ICE detention

year-old Canadian woman Kaitlyn Tracey was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment, and obstruction after allegedly slapping a teenage girl on a New Jersey boardwalk.
The confrontation occurred during Fourth of July celebrations on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk; the teen was reportedly wearing 'MAGA clothing'.
Tracey turned herself in after a warrant was issued and is now held at New Jersey's Delaney Hall immigration facility, facing possible deportation to Canada.
Police allege Tracey first struck the girl on the shoulder before hitting her in the face; the teen was not seriously injured.
Tracey's husband Matthew Geroni disputed police claims, stating Tracey was provoked and that the video does not show the full encounter.
