Four arrested in Gzb for ATM hacking: Cops

Ghaziabad police arrested four men from Sahibabad for hacking ATMs and cash deposit machines.

The suspects used a smart plug device and mobile app to disable machines and steal cash trapped inside.

The alleged kingpin is a 27-year-old resident of Shaheed Nagar in Ghaziabad.

The gang targeted ATMs in isolated spots in upscale neighborhoods across Ghaziabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Madhya Pradesh.

Police estimate they stole around ₹1 crore; recovered ₹4 lakh cash and a Mahindra Scorpio N SUV.
